SMARTinFOOD Final Meeting

Final meeting of the SMARTinFOOD project

On the 1st of February,  we had the Final meeting of the SMARTinFOOD project.

The SMARTinFOOD aims to address nutrition security and sustainability in vulnerable areas through circular bioeconomy, by applying technologies on insect farming as the main vector for the valorisation of agricultural waste and its conversion into food and feed products.

This project was awarded by WAITRO, the World Association Of Industrial And Technological Research Organizations under the Framework of Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture  to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger.

It has been a great opportunity for international cooperation. We want to thank our partners for their great work  #Federal Institute Of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO),  the #Council for Scientific and  Industrial Research (CSIR), and  #Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR).

We are glad to have learnt from all of you and looking forward for future collaborations!
