LEITAT @ Info-day of Organic Electronics in Horizon 2020

LEITAT participated last Friday 14th at the DG Connect in Brussels to the Information and Networking event about Organic Electronics in Horizon 2020.

The session during the morning was dedicated to explain by the Photonics Unit (A1) the topics where OLAE could fit and the rules and funding schemes of the new programme H2020.

The afternoon session was focus on the ideas and the attendees, so it was planned a networking and brokerage  with presentations of proposal ideas and presentations of partners.

LEITAT presented its expertise on Organic Electronics  in the following activities: Printed antennas and microstrip devices; Printed sensors and biosensors; Functional Inks formulation and characterization; Flexible electronics (flexible substrates, e‐textiles); Encapsulation methods. And LEITAT also offered its know-how on Smart materials and smart systems.

It was a very interesting event with a good chance to talk with the companies and organisations who are leading the research on Thin Organics Large Area of Electronics (TOLAE).
