Experts present Research Activities on Marine Litter at the Port of Barcelona

On the 16th of October 2015, LEITAT was invited to participate to the Marine Litter Workshop hosted by the Port of Barcelona. LEITAT presented the projects in which they are working related to marine litter sucha as MERMAIDS and COMMON SENSE. The Catalan Waste Agency organised the workshop inviting organisations and experts from Catalonia working in issues related with marine litter. The aim of this workshop was to gather specialists currently working in projects and initiatives related to marine litter. This was the occasion for them to explain their work they are currently carrying out. After the workshop, the Catalan Waste Agency presented the project MARVIVA done in collaboration with the fishermen from Barcelona.
