A Sustainable, Wireless, Autonomous NC-based Quantitative Drug-of-Abuse Biosensor
The Greensense project just released its pitch video! The project develops a point of care device to perform quantitative screening of drug-of-abuse in saliva and urine. The device aims to be used by medical staff, paramedics, law enforcement officers, anti-doping organizations and also individual consumers.
The device is made of nanocellulose and it integrates high added-value printed electronics with a silicon microchip. It includes and NFC antenna and energy storage systems, a display and five biosensors. The new biosensing device features various technical advantages and aims to reduce environmental impact.
