RIS3CAT meeting in LEITAT: auditorium filled!

LEITAT is boosting a community in the Health’s industries sector about Technologies for Health, which met in Terrassa on the 29th of July in order to prepare the working programme and future actions.

 

RIS3CAT is the research and innovation strategy for smart specialization of Catalonia approved by the Government on 4 February 2014. It is the result of over a year of interdepartmental work, and part of the strategy Catalonia 2020 (ECAT 2020) as a roadmap for the government to revive the economy and redirect the productive sector towards an economic model: more intelligent, more sustainable and more inclusive.

 

The RIS3CAT communities consist of voluntary groupings of companies and agents that promote Catalan R&D and Innovation in leading sectors defined in the RIS3CAT strategy. RIS3CAT defines the framework from which the government carries out actions and programs for R&D and Innovation for 2014-2020 and gives support the creation and development of innovative projects.

 

LEITAT, as member of TECNIO and other Catalan research centers such as ACTec and Orbital 40, is participating in different sectorial working groups including mobility, advance manufacturing, health, and food.
