International Conference on Microplastic Pollution in the Mediterranean Sea

The International Conference on Microplastic Pollution in the Mediterranean Sea – μ MED – was hosted in Capri (NA), Italy, last week from the 26th until the 29th of September, 2017.

Lola Rodríguez, Business Development for Circular Economy and Marine affairs in LEITAT, participated as part of the Advisory board and as chair of the session on Microplastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea, and Raquel Villaba, researcher in the Sustainability Division in LEITAT, offered a presentation on the results achieved by the MERMAIDS project. We would like to thank the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche – CNR for a great organisation.
