Mapping pilots developed during BASMATI project

BASMATI finished in December 2017 and managed to scale-up the ink formulations to pilot line ensuring large volume fabrication of new products with improved properties for printing application.

Three pilots were used/developed during the project by Umicore, Prayon and Genes’Ink are:

  • The pilot of Umicore is a high shear mixing and bead milling technology for the production of nano-inks and dispersions. It has a production capacity of 50-200kg per batch and is located in Olen (Belgium).
  • The pilot of Prayon is used for the production of LFP nano-powder, powder/ink, priting technique and more. It has a production capacity of 30 tonnes per year. It is located in Engis (Belgium).
  • The Genes’Ink pilot produces copper ink for inkjet printing, powder/ink, printing techniques and more. It has a production capacity of 1,7kg per batch and is located in Rousset (France).
