LEITAT has hosted the Kick-Off meeting of project GUIDEnano in Barcelona between the 10-12th of December. GUIDEnano deals with assessment and mitigation of NM-enabled product risks on human and environmental health and aims to  develop new strategies and creation of a web-based guidance tool for nanotech industries. The project is lead by LEITAT and includes 30 partners from across Europe including universities, research centers, SMEs and large industries with total budget of €11m. The whole life cycle of nanomaterials enabled products ranging from textiles, packaging, ceramics, automotives, etc, will be investigated.
