ABSTRACT

Els projectes que formen part de l’agrupació BASE3D es basen en diferents contextos a desenvolupar. Si bé l’objectiu general del grup és llançar i donar suport al creixement de les tecnologies emergents en fabricació additiva (AM, de l’anglès Additive Manufacturing), no totes començaran des del mateix estat de la tecnologia ni tindran les mateixes perspectives de futur.

Concretament, Leitat és el coordinador del projecte LIGHT3D, que estudiarà diferents fonts de llum per tecnologies de AM per tal de millorar les tecnologies que utilitzen les fonts de llum esmentades anteriorment. LIGHT3D se centrarà en:

  • Làser d’alta potència (P≈400W) per a metalls amb tecnologia de fusió selectiva per làser (SLM, de l’anglès Selective Laser Melting).
  • Làser de baixa potència (P<450mW) per a ceràmica funcional amb tecnologia d’estereolitografia (SLA).
  • Llum visible per a polímers amb tecnologia de processament digital de llum (DLP, de l’anglès Digital Light Processing).

 

ABSTRACT

The projects that are part of the BASE3D grouping are based on different contexts to be developed. While the overall purpose of the grouping is to launch and support the growth of emerging technologies in 3D printing, not all of them will start from the same state of technology, nor will they have the same future prospects.

Specifically, Leitat is the coordinator of LIGHT3D project which will study different light sources for additive manufacturing technologies (AM) in order to improve the technologies that are using the aforementioned light sources. LIGHT3D will focused in:

  • High power laser (P≈400W) for metals with Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology.
  • Low power laser (P<450mW) for functional ceramics with stereolithography (SLA) technology.
  • Visible light for polymers with Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology.
