Congreso Nacional de Acuicultura: Bridging Circular Economy and Aquaculture

From the 7th to the 10th of May, the XVIIth Spanish National Congress of Aquaculture is taking place in Cartagena (Murcia).

During this event, Leitat will present how to combine circular economy and aquaculture by using principles of sustainability, management, and innovation. Leitat is participating in two large Horizon 2020 projects, iFishIENCi and IMPAQT, which aim to improve the environmental impact of aquaculture.

Our researcher Inmaculada Sánchez from the sustainability division, will participate in the round table about closing the circle of circular aquaculture through sustainability, management and innovation. The round table will take place on the 9th of May. One part will be about the IMPAQT project (Intelligent Management Systems for Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture) and the second about the iFishIENCi proejct (Intelligent Fish feeding through Integration of Enabling technologies and Circular principles).
