READI: NETWORK OF EXCELLENCE IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

ABSTRACT

La red READI se centra en facilitar, potenciar y acelerar la integración de las tecnologías de fabricación aditiva en los procesos industriales y en este ámbito se plantea el objetivo técnico general de fortalecer las capacidades de investigación y desarrollo en la tecnología de fabricación aditiva de cada uno de los miembros de la agrupación, a través de acciones focalizadas en la superación de los retos técnicos que, a día de hoy, suponen una barrera para la implementación de dicha tecnología en los procesos productivos industriales. Así pues, cada uno de los centros tecnológicos desarrollará actividades específicas de I+D+i, coordinadas dentro de la red, orientadas a mejorar y fortalecer sus capacidades en distintas tecnologías de fabricación aditiva y a lo largo de las distintas fases de la cadena de valor. De este modo, como agrupación, READI alcanzará una posición de liderazgo con una alta capacidad para prestar apoyo integral a la industria en el ámbito de la fabricación aditiva.

The READI network focuses on facilitating, enhancing and accelerating the integration of additive manufacturing technologies in industrial processes and in this area the general technical objective of strengthening the research and development capacities in additive manufacturing technology of each one of the members of the group, through actions focused on overcoming the technical challenges that, today, represent a barrier to the implementation of said technology in industrial production processes.
Thus, each of the technology centers will develop specific R&D activities, coordinated within the network, aimed at improving and strengthening their capacities in different additive manufacturing technologies and throughout the different phases of the value chain. In this way, as a grouping, READI will achieve a leadership position with a high capacity to provide comprehensive support to the industry in the field of additive manufacturing.
