POROUS4APP consortium meets in Montpellier with external advisory board

On the 10th and 11th of October, the POROUS4APP consortium met in Montpellier at the faculty of science of the University of Montpellier for their 42 month meeting. The first day was dedicated to internal discussions regarding each work package. For the second day, the consortium invited the external advisory board of the project, with the special participation of Pierre Untereiner, consultant and investor.

This meeting is the last one before the final meeting that will take place in February 2020. Therefore, partners welcomed the inputs from the external advisory board to develop strategies especially in terms of exploitation to maximize future impact.

POROUS4APP project is based on the fabrication of functional nanoporous carbonaceous materials at pilot plant scale from natural renewable resources. It develops new metal and metal-oxide doped nanoporous carbonaceous materials from natural renewable resources. The final objective is to bring in high added value nanoporous materials at lower costs for energy storage and chemical catalysis applications.
