Participating in the International Conference of RTOs

From the 19th to the 23rd of November, the 24th WAITRO Biennal Congress and General Assembly is taking place in Penang (Malaysia). Leitat is participating in this high and global level event where the world largest RTOs meet. Leitat is proud to be the only Spanish RTO present at this conference.

WAITRO has been focusing its activities towards building cooperation and collaborations involving Research and Technology Organizations (RTOs) from different parts of the world for last over 40 years.  It has been dedicating its resources to various initiatives and programs which have been aimed at bringing all inclusive growth. SIRIM Berhad is hosting the prestigious occasion of 24th Biennial Congress and General Assembly.

The forum is going to address key issues facing science and technological advancements in the region and will help in developing a well-structured innovation environment for building knowledge societies and eventually knowledge driven economies.

The event organized under the ‘Global Collaboration for Innovation, Competitiveness and Sustainability’ theme is an important step forward in the direction of achieving SIRIM’s vision to transform the country and the region into knowledge economies.
