NOSHAN project meeting in Belgium: Produce low cost feed

NOSHAN meeting MelleNOSHAN, a research project investigating how to use food waste for feed production, gatherd together in Melle Belgium on the 8th and 9th of July. The main focus of the project is to investigate the process and technologies needed to use food waste for feed production at low cost, low energy consumption and with maximal valorisation of starting waste materials.

This meeting was the occasion for the consortium to celebrate its 36 month Meeting, hosted by ILVO (Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research). During the event, partners discussed the progress in achieving feed production according to animal needs from food waste. The goal is to do this at low cost, with low energy consumption and with maximal valorisation of starting wastes.
