Collective Intelligence and Social and Health Technology Laboratories to combat the isolation and loneliness of the elderly
ABSTRACT
The MOAI LABS project aims to promote the investment of companies in innovative solutions to combat loneliness and isolation of older adults, encouraged by a future innovative public purchase with early commitment. MOAI LABS will involve the creation of the first European transnational laboratory specialized in solitude and open innovation, capable of supporting this investment thanks to the integration of “Experts by Experience” (need), “Pre-demand groups” (offer), the potential buyers (demand) and the surroundings (community). It is intended, therefore, to ensure the adoption of these solutions to reduce the loneliness of older adults, increase their bonds and empower them.
