Advancing Sustainable Agriculture: ReLEAF’s 6-Month Consortium Meeting in Lisbon

On November 21st and 22nd, the ReLEAF project partners came together in Lisbon, Portugal, for the 6-month consortium meeting. The event was hosted by NOVA ID – Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, whose team did an amazing job organizing the sessions and showing first-hand their contribution to the project.

During the two-day meeting, partners shared updates on the project’s progress, discussed key challenges, and planned the next steps toward achieving ReLEAF’s ambitious goals. We also had the chance to visit NOVA ID’s facilities, where exciting work is being done on developing fermentation processes to produce biopolymers from bio-waste. These biopolymers will serve as controlled-release carriers for the innovative bio-based fertilizers being developed in the project.
