Funding allocation per thematic area in Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020)

The Commission has presented the breakdown structure of the budget dedicated for the upcoming Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) laying down the objectives and management of the EU funds in the period 2014-2020, covering cohesion policy, maritime affairs and fisheries, research and innovation, environment and climate, competitiveness. The new proposals are designed to ensure that EU investment is targeted on Europe’s long-term goals for growth and jobs.
