EU Commission Vice President Antonio Tajani inviting SMEs for B2B in Spain

Vice President Antonio Tajani, in his role of European Commissioner responsible for industry and entrepreneurship, wants to ensure that European Industry and enterprises come out of the current economic crisis stronger and more competitive than before.

In that sense, helping EU companies and in particular SMEs to develop their activities within the EU and abroad and in parallel reinforcing industrial relations and strengthening the links of Enterprise policies with these countries is vital. For that reason, VP Antonio Tajani will carry out a number of missions to Member States as part of the EUROPE 2020 Strategy for Growth, with the aim of “Promoting Business Partnerships in Europe”.

During the next three months Vice President Tajani has confirmed missions to Belgium, Greece, Italy and Spain. As with previous events in Greece and Portugal, these missions will consist of a conference at political level, accompanied by a business-to-business event, mainly for SMEs. The objective is twofold: to raise awareness among European companies of business opportunities within the respective regions; and to bring SMEs from all over Europe in contact with local SMEs, thus paving the way for possible collaboration and partnerships in joint undertakings, transnational technology transfer, trade investments, etc.

The mission in Spain will take place on:

  • 3 April 2014 in Sevilla.
  • 4 April 2014 in Merida.
