Energy Storage course by Albufera and LEITAT

Tras el éxito de las pasadas convocatoria en la madrileña sede de Albufera Energy Storage y ante la creciente demanda del sector, la joven empresa organiza la primera convocatoria en colaboración con Leitat, Centro Tecnológico, miembro de TECNIO, su curso especializado en sistemas de almacenamiento energético electroquímico, dentro del marco de la Universidad de la Batería.

La convocatoria de la Universidad de la Batería, Barcelona 22-23 Enero 2015 tendrá como objetivos principales proporcionar a los asistentes una visión general de las características y fundamentos de la electroquímica aplicada al almacenamiento energético así como ofrecer un conocimiento exhaustivo, desde el punto de vista multidisciplinar, de sus aplicaciones en las futuras Smart Grids, partiendo de los fundamentos científicos electroquímicos hasta las principales aplicaciones actuales.

¿A quién va dirigido?

Este curso se ha diseñado para todos los profesionales del sector energético interesados en adquirir los conocimientos necesarios para aplicar sistemas de almacenamiento energético basados en baterías y otros dispositivos compatibles en las nuevas oportunidades que ofrecen las futuras Smart Grids.

 

Así pues, con el curso de lo que se trata es de crear una red de profesionales involucrados en los conceptos de almacenamiento de electricidad a nivel europeo para desarrollar proyectos de demostración de acuerdo a las directrices de la Comisión Europea para los próximos 10 años dentro del programa HORIZON 2020.

 

El perfil de alumnos es de personal profesional en cuyas empresas se trabaja de manera habitual con sistemas de almacenamiento energético y requieren, por tanto, un mayor conocimiento de las diferentes tecnologías. Las características más comunes entre los asistentes:

• Empresas del Sector: Energías Renovables – Ingenierías – Vehículo Eléctrico – Telecomunicaciones – Etc.
• Cargos: Dirección (o mandos intermedios) – Técnicos especializados – Observatorio Tecnológico

After the exit of last calls at the Madrid headquarters of Albufera Energy Storage and the rising demand of the sector, the young company organizes, collaborating with LEITAT Technological Center, its course specialized in electrochemical energy storage systems, inside the University of Battery framework.

 

The University of Battery call of the 22nd and 23rd of January 2015 in Barcelona, Spain, will aim to provide the attendants a general view of the characteristics and foundations of electrochemistry applied to energy storage, while also offering an exhaustive knowledge, from a multidisciplinary point of view, of its applications in future Smart Grids, from the scientific electrochemical foundations to the main current applications.

Who is this course for?

This course has been designed for professionals of the energy sector interested in acquiring the required knowledge to apply energy storage systems, based on batteries and other devices, in the new opportunities offered by future Smart Grids.

 

The course aims to create a network of professionals involved in energy storage concepts at European level to develop demonstration projects following the guidelines of the European Commission for the next 10 years in the Horizon 2020 framework.

 

The profile of the attendants is of professionals which work in companies usually involved with energy storage systems, and that therefore require a deeper knowledge in the different existing technologies. The most common characteristics on attendants of previous editions are:

• Companies from different sectors: renewable energies – engineering – electric vehicles – telecommunications – etc.
• Position: general managers (or intermediate managers) – specialized technicians – technology observance
