Empowering Consumers to Prevent Diet-Related Diseases

On the 15th and 16th of November, the kick off meeting of the Horizon 2020 project PREVENTOMICS took place in the headquarters of Eurecat in Barcelona. This project coordinated by Eurecat with 18 partners including Leitat, aims develop a novel mFood Platform, a unique-in-its-kind service, interoperable with current existing Apps for monitoring health status and with personalized nutrition software. This opens the door to the personalization of any type of health treatment where combinations of genetic, biological, nutritional and psychological factors are important.

During this meeting, partners presented their activities and their individual roles within the project. In addition, the various work package leaders presented the upcoming tasks and milestones.
