Intense presence of LEITAT at EuroNanoForum 2017

From the 21st to the 23rd of June, the EuroNanoForum (ENF) 2017 will take place in Malta, the current Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The ENF takes place once every 2 years and represents the Europe’s largest Nanotechnology Event, aiming at strengthening the competitiveness of European manufacturing industries through nano and advanced materials technologies and open innovation

 

LEITAT, as a recognised European RTO leader in Nanotechnology, will have an intense presence at the conference presenting 4 projects – HypoSens, ALION, GUIDEnano and EnRICH.  Moreover, LEITAT is co-organizing Workshop 3: Open Innovation by PILOT Upscaling – the strategic framework and the EPPN which will launch the new European Pilot Production Network and Innovation Hubs. LEITAT will be also present at Workshop 5: Delivering safe nanotechnology to market which will discuss the safety aspects of nanotechnology and nanomaterials.  The ENF 2017 discussions will also extend to framework conditions such as education, standards, regulations, IPR and safety issues, as well as entrepreneurship and industrial policy. The programme will include sessions on finance and funding through European and National programmes, in particular Horizon 2020, smart specialisation and public-private partnership initiatives.

 

During three days, attendees will have the opportunity to network with 70 expert speakers and 1000 international delegates to share best practices and bounce off new project ideas.  They will bond over common interests and forge new partnerships for the future with like-minded professionals.
